    So.. wall running...
So many people don't like it. So many times I've read it's ruined cod for them.
I want to know exactly why?
Don't get me wrong, when Im killed by someone doing it I'm like fuck fuck fuck. But I don't dislike it. I do the same.
I don't see how it has ruined the game or ruined the experience.
With BO3, I think it works well.
I didn't like the thrust or boost shit with AW, but then again I didn't play it too much. I didn't like it because it didn't feel right. With wall running it doesn't seem too out of place.
If this type of movement does make it into the next cod, I won't be put off buying it.

I don't bother it. Sometimes it's fun to wallrun. Instead of whining about a thing that is in the game, play something else!

I didn't like AW with the boost jumping...but bo3 I like the wall running which opened up more routes to ambush opposing team. in previous cods I would get killed when rounding a corner but with the wallrunning allows me to round the corner out of FOV of the opposing team allowing me to ambush them.

    I don't mind the wallrunning.

BUT when you've played Titanfall, Bo3 wallrunning just feels and plays like a cheap knock-off.

The fact that you can span an entire map without ever having to really touch the ground... I'll take boost jumping over this. Well boost jumping with a recharge delay and slower boost like BO3.

Case in point. Why the hell do I need to be looking in the trees for spider monkeys or some bull shit like this.

wall rand boost jumping belongs in halo titanfall, ect not a ww2 based game the most popular games are fought on the ground since cod started to go into the future like all other games they are no longer any different and the game has lost its team vs team fights know its just a bowl of choas people shooying ya from 15 feet over your head and running on walls shooting its brutal and to far fetched i hope slegehammer or TR3 make a old school game again it will sell like crazy the only dood thing they have put into the future cod games is the fast running like in bo3 but the stupid wall running and boost jumping belongs in games foe 12 year olds ,like starwars and halo . not cod .

Understand all the criticism....seems like IW relates innovation to future tech. You can have innovation without all the boost jumps/wall running/specialist bullshit. I remember loving barebones in BO...sad it hasn't returned since.

Well, that isn't infinite wall running like you think it is. That guy in the video chained his moves between wall running and boost jumping. Nice timing, nice reflexes there.

There is a timer for wallrunning. You fall off if you go to the wrong wall, or the time is up.

There are times where I'd drop off because I fucked up. Or killed for being too visible, or something. Wallrunning isn't the problem here. I don't mind it, it's the boost jumps that bothers me. I mean, it's another thing to worry about, especially in Hardcore modes.

Look, here's Optic talking about it...

Keep in mind, that video was posted long before the reveal trailer of Infinite Warfare was released.

I've never understood comments like this. Why is wallrunning and boost jumping for 12 year olds? Some people enjoy games where the skill-gap is greatly increased and the game takes some time to become good at. When you add all those different variables it creates a definite skill gap that people (yes even "grown ups") enjoy.

Its not that hard to chain movements and run around a map. Some are better than others at it. You dont just simply fall off the wall after the timer. You just start drifting down the wall and it has to be a damn long wall for that.

You realize that video they are talking about not liking wall running and crap? They are saying they dont care as much about time period vs just ridding the game of wall running and boost jumping.

Damn, man. That's what I'm saying! You do fall off sometimes. I've been playing this game since launch, I know what I'm talkin' about!
Actually, yeah. I do. That's my point.
